These really are the worst glasses I’ve ever used. My parents bought two sets of four as a moving in present for my partner and I in July. Less than five months later and seven of the original eight have been smashed or cracked through the most minor contact and day-to-day use. We’re not especially heavy-handed or clumsy people, yet these glasses are so brittle and thin, they will shatter under anything but the lightest touch. One shattered in my hand as I was wiping it dry, another went because it lightly tapped the edge of our plastic washing up bowl! Despite a slight bulging at the rim, the main body of the glass is – according to my tape measure – less than 1mm thick, giving it no structural integrity whatsoever. These glasses are allegedly dishwasher safe. We can’t test this claim because we don’t own one but I would caution anyone against putting these glasses in a dishwasher; I can only imagine it turning them into a confetti of razer sharp shards. If I could rate them zero stars, I would.
