Love these, the perfect size for dinner plates. I find the standard place mats a bit small, I hate the asymmetry of a rectangular mat and a round plate, these square mats are perfect. Great value

Good size of placemat and they look really nice. I bought three packs, so six mats in total. I’m only giving them 4 stars because the slate is noticeably flaking off of them every time they’re used. I’m unsure how long it will be until bits stop breaking off them, but I’m hoping they won’t need replaced anytime soon.

Sorry no good as table placemats, too heavy, grit comes off on the table even after washing them, they show every little mark especially if greasy or oily marks. Going to use them in the garden for edging the flowerbed. Have bought some replacement mats cork backed, much more suitable

Does the job. I did get one where the rubber pads in the corner are away from the corner a little so it rocks on the table. Need to see if adding more in the corner will stop that but it’s not too noticeable

These were not protected at all in the box used to so although they are lovely they were slightly damaged along a couple of the edges.

The slates are fantastic quality and good size. They were purchased to make a slate card for the graveside for a close loved one. Which i then etched and applied vinyl

One corner already cracked off in the package. It’s very easy to get chipped to have many small black bits on the kitchen worktop. I only use them for putting hot pans on. It also has greasy marks from food residue.
